Mysti grew up in the Twin Cities and graduated from Hamline University in 2009 with a degree in Political Science and Women’s Studies. Prior to joining Wellstone in 2012, she served as Project Associate for a firm specializing in evaluation for non-profit and philanthropic foundation programming. She is thrilled to be part of the Wellstone team, where she gets to put her organizing, planning, and communication skills to use to support a movement she’s been passionate about her whole life – working for racial and gender justice and equity.
Mysti is back in Minneapolis after three years on the west coast, where she guides many of Wellstone's public-facing programs, including Camp Wellstone, ACMS and RootsCamp. She is also an artist, an avid vegan cook, and an aspiring filmmaker.
