I come from a community of labels: rising homelessness, gentrification, poor quality schools and stores, poverty, criminalization, and disinvestment. My experiences growing up has sparked my passion for social justice and community development, of redefining labels, and creating change. I graduated from Loyola Marymount University, Class of 2014 with a major in Urban studies. Currently, I spend my work days at a non-profit doing list-building and database management, running electoral programs and/or mass based events, and outreaching to communities. For my free time I'm either binge watching a TV show on Netflix or exploring LA (eating food, at an event, or dancing away the night).
