Oluwakemi Oso is a young, Black queer feminist organizer from the Southwest. Hailing from Phoenix, she began fighting for gender-based issues while attending the University of Arizona. Kemi has called the DC-area her home for the past two years. In that time, she has been the Organizing Co-Chair of the Black Youth Project 100’s DC Chapter where "she grinds from Monday to Friday, works from Friday to Sunday". In her 9-5 life, she works as a DataOps Engineer, processing the voter file for the progressive left. Prior to that, she was organizing around reproductive justice issues in Georgia, Alabama, & Florida. When she’s not manifesting her inner cyborg, she enjoys reading, twerking, and all-things Beyoncé.
