One thing many schools down here, and really around the nation, are facing are major budget cuts.

Our overall impression of today is that there is A LOT of work to be done, and great potential. Were excited to be apart of moving Mississippi forward in a progressive direction. Today really validated the need and importance of this HBCU/Southern initiative.

We hit the road to build relationships here in Mississippi and connect with students at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) about training to build skills and power.  Here's our first update from the trip!
