Jane Austin brings over 20 years experience in non-profit communications to her work of managing Wellstone Action Fund's foundation relations and grant writing program.

Born in Jalisco, Mexico, Adriana Barboza grew up on the south side of Chicago. She is a 2005 graduate of the University of Wisconsin at Madison, where she received her bachelor's degree in legal studies with minors in women's studies and Chicano studies.

Fawn Bernhardt-Norvell brings 13 years of non-profit and development experience to her work as Wellstone Action's Deputy Executive Director.

Jeff Blodgett has over 25 years experience in community organizing and political management.

Marge Boyle is one of Wellstone Action's most loyal and hardworking volunteers. Marge is responsible for processing checks for Wellstone Action and helping to maintain relationships with the organization's thousands of donors around the country.

Melvin W. Carter III was elected in 2007 to the St. Paul City Council.

Pam Costain has been a grassroots organizer for over 30 years, working on issues of racial and economic justice, adult literacy, leadership development, labor organizing, community-based education, and international human rights. She is the new chair of the Minneapolis School Board and is former State Director of Save Our Schools (2003), a coalition that advocates for adequate funding for Minnesota public education.

Kim Couch brings extensive experience in nonprofit financial management to Wellstone Action, including work as finance manager for the Salvation Army Harbor Light Center and the Cedar Riverside People's Center in Minneapolis.

Camille Cyprian is the Training Organizer for Campus Camp Wellstone. She recently graduated from the University of Minnesota with an individually designed major of social justice and community organizing, combining work in African American and Chicano studies, sociology, and law.

Stephanie Dodge is one of Wellstone Action's most committed volunteers. She was a long-term volunteer on Senator Wellstone's 2002 campaign, and now honors his legacy and memory through her work with Wellstone Action's supporters and donors.

Rahna most recently directed the Oregon Bus Project's PolitiCorps program - a 10 week political immersion program for future progressive leaders.

Alyse Erman is a graduate of the University of Michigan Residential College, where she studied social science with a focus on comparative religion and culture.

Peggy Flanagan serves as Deputy National Field Director at Wellstone Action Fund and coordinates the organization's new Native American Leadership Program.

Howard has made a career of helping young people understand and embrace politics.

Anna Galland's organizing and electoral work began at Brown University in Providence, RI.

Ben Goldfarb is a seasoned campaign worker and community organizer, and former campaign manager for Minnesota US Senator Amy Klobuchar (2006), the first woman elected to the Senate in the state's history.

As Wellstone Action's Training Manager, Jen Haut puts to use her organizing skills to make Camp Wellstone run. While at Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa, she worked as a peace and justice student organizer, notably creating publications to educate the campus community on issues of environmentalism, fair trade, and political advocacy.

Anne Johnson is a Senior Fundraiser for the National Education Association in Washington, D.C. Anne served as the first director of Campus Camp Wellstone and also helped organize Wellstone Action's national members around progressive issues.

Laura Keys works with the Sheila Wellstone Institute and the Native American Leadership Program at Wellstone Action. Laura is a proud Native American woman from the Red Lake Band of Chippewa in Minnesota. She is the ninth child of Allen and Cynthia Sayers and has lived in the Twin Cities since 1979. She has been married for seven years and is the mother of five great children.

She works primarily in the District of Columbia and Maryland and is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive reform strategy to this country's failed ‘War on Drugs.'

Karen Lopez is the NY VOTE Coordinator for Families United for Racial and Economic Equality (FUREE).

He is currently a junior high math teacher in St. Paul, MN. Brian has been involved in teaching, organizing and working in grass roots movements since his time spent at Cornell. He has primarily focused on education and has worked with students from the elementary level through college.

Erik Peterson brings 25 years experience as a community-based educator, trainer, and community and electoral organizer.

Lonna Stevens leads the organization's Sheila Wellstone Institute, which continues Sheila Wellstone's commitment to building power and visibility for the domestic violence movement, and also helps coordinate the organization's new Native American Leadership Program.

A native New Yorker, DawnMarie Vihrachoff was raised in Florida, where she got an early start in politics as an intern in the office of her local congresswoman. DawnMarie earned her bachelor's degree in political science at Florida State University, and served as an organizer for Planned Parenthood during her college years.

Mattie Weiss is a long-time youth movement organizer, writer, and leader. She is a 2001 graduate of Swarthmore College, where she studied political science and organized students and staff around issues of global economic justice, local race politics, and a campus-based living wage campaign.

At Wellstone Action, Elana has managed communication and mobilization of our members and alumni, including coordination of two national issue campaigns and efforts to connect our 18,000 training alumni with the progressive movement.
