* Saved consumers hundreds of millions by stopping last-minute back-door efforts by drug companies to extend their exclusive patents.

* Teamed up with Republicans and got things done for Minnesotans on worker training, mental health parity, domestic violence, Parkinson's research, anti-sex trafficking, and training teachers.
* Helped strengthen and pass the McCain-Feingold campaign finance reform bill, and passed laws banning gifts to members of Congress and better regulating lobbyists.
