Brian is a native of Philadelphia, PA and attended Cornell University in Ithaca, NY.
He is currently a junior high math teacher in St. Paul, MN. Brian has been involved in teaching, organizing and working in grass roots movements since his time spent at Cornell. He has primarily focused on education and has worked with students from the elementary level through college. Brian has experience starting a school, organizing political movements, working with at risk youth, and facilitating discussion circles at various levels. He has taught math in jr. high and high school in Philadelphia and St. Paul and enjoys spending his days working with the next generation of leaders. In his free time, Brian produces music and is the MC for a hip-hop/jazz band. He is an avid reader and teaches chess to youth. Brian also loves spending time with his wife, Hellina and daughter, Tsedenia.
